Privacy at the Station | Polar Glow Lounge (UK GDPR)

Who is in charge of your data

The controller for personal data processed through polarglowlounge.com is the operator of polarglowlounge.com. Contact: [email protected].

Contents of an account

What we log	Why it is logged	Held until
Call sign	Your on-screen name	Held until the account is closed by you
Email address we keep on file	Recognising the account when you log in again	Held until the account is closed by you
Password hash	Checking your login without the password itself being stored	Held until the account is closed by you
Sign-up date	Handling support and abuse	Held until the account is closed by you

Nothing else is collected. We never ask for your real name, address, date of birth, phone number or any payment detail, as there is nothing here to pay for. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (providing the account you requested). Deleting the account wipes all of it at once, and the button for that is on your account page.

Held locally in your browser

What we log	Its role on base	Held until
Coins, level, missions and station settings	Resuming play	Held until browser data is wiped
Age confirmation	Stops the banner asking on every page	Held until browser data is wiped
Cookie choice	Recording your consent choice	Held until browser data is wiped

All of it stays on this device; the station never receives it.

Google tags, switched on only by your consent

Choose “Accept all” and we run Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure visits and whether our adverts lead to play, such as a first spin taking place. Google then receives your IP address, device information and those events. Choose “Essential only” and the tags run in consent mode with no cookies and no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.

Request logs at our host

For security, our host holds ordinary request logs for a short time. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Practices we rule out

Payment data is never collected, since nothing is for sale.
Marketing email goes out only if you request it.
We never sell your data, and we never rent it out.
Nothing is shared with gambling operators, and the site carries no gambling affiliate links.

Your rights over the data

At any time you may access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Deleting your account on the account page erases its data at once; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes everything else. Complaints can go to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
